Client: EEA Engineering Consultants
Purpose: Office interior refresh to support real estate consolidation and post-Covid workforce.
Location: Austin, Texas
Description: A long-standing, employee-owned engineering firm located in the hills of Austin approached Workscape Designs with several objectives in mind. Due to the success of their “work from home” initiative during Covid, CEO Todd Schmitt decided to take advantage of this fluid workstyle and update the office while it was vacant. By consolidating their two story office space into one floor and maximizing its potential, EEA was able to reduce expenses while increasing headcount by approximately. 50%. Updated offices include new ergo-centric sit to stand workstations, huddle areas, and a brand new professional main lobby with frosted glass barn doors. Workscape Designs performed furniture disposition, procurement, and installation, as well as data cabling, signage, and construction management services throughout the eight month project. The end results foster an updated workscape that everyone can enjoy.
